Product Introduction
Degalix 120mg injection contains degarelix as its active ingredient. It is indicated for the treatment of advanced prostate cancer. Prostate cancer is a malignancy that develops in the prostate gland, which in males produces seminal fluid. Cancer is a disease characterised by uncontrolled and abnormal cell multiplication. Seek immediate medical attention if you develop dizziness, fever, or signs of infection. Throughout treatment, your doctor may conduct periodic monitoring of your blood pressure, blood glucose, electrolytes, cardiac function, and liver and kidney function to minimise the risk of serious adverse effects. Inform your doctor if you have a history of cardiac, hepatic, or renal disease. Patients with severe hepatic and renal impairment should use this medicine with caution. This medicine is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to degarelix or any component of the formulation. Degalix 120mg injection may impair fertility in both male and female patients of reproductive potential. This injection is not recommended during pregnancy due to its teratogenic potential and risk of miscarriage. The passage of this medicine into breast milk has not been established. Possible adverse effects associated with therapy include redness, swelling, and itching at the injection site. These effects are typically mild and self-limiting, usually resolving within three days.

How it works
