Product Introduction
Degalix 80 mg Injection contains the active ingredient degarelix and is indicated for the treatment of advanced prostate cancer. Prostate cancer develops in the prostate gland, a male reproductive organ responsible for producing seminal fluid, when abnormal cells grow and multiply uncontrollably.
Patients should seek immediate medical attention if they experience symptoms such as dizziness, fever, or signs of infection during treatment. To ensure safe and effective therapy, your doctor may regularly monitor blood pressure, blood glucose levels, electrolyte balance, and heart, liver, and kidney function. Inform your healthcare provider if you have a history of heart, liver, or kidney disease, as individuals with severe hepatic or renal impairment require careful monitoring while receiving this medicine.
Degalix 80 mg Injection should not be used in patients with a known allergy to degarelix or any of its ingredients. The medicine may affect fertility in both men and women of reproductive potential. It is not recommended for use during pregnancy because it may cause harm to the developing fetus or lead to miscarriage. It is also unknown whether degarelix is excreted in breast milk; therefore, breastfeeding individuals should consult their doctor before using this medication.
Common side effects include redness, swelling, pain, or itching at the injection site. These reactions are generally mild, resolve on their own, and usually subside within a few days after administration.

How it works
