Product Introduction

Densucor 60 mg Injection contains Denosumab as its active ingredient and is used primarily for the treatment of osteoporosis, a condition that causes bones to become weak and more prone to fractures. It is also indicated to reduce the risk of bone-related complications in patients with cancers such as multiple myeloma and solid tumours that have spread to the bones.

Denosumab works by inhibiting the RANK ligand, a protein involved in the breakdown of bone tissue. By suppressing this pathway, the medication helps increase bone mineral density and lowers the likelihood of fractures in postmenopausal women with osteoporosis as well as individuals experiencing cancer-related bone loss. Other denosumab-containing injections may also be available as substitutes, based on a healthcare provider’s recommendation.

Densucor 60 mg Injection should not be administered to patients with a known allergy to Denosumab or any of the formulation's ingredients. During treatment, adequate intake of calcium and vitamin D is essential to support bone health and reduce the risk of low calcium levels. Patients with moderate kidney impairment may require regular monitoring of renal function while receiving this medication.

The safety and effectiveness of Densucor have not been established in children and adolescents; therefore, its use is contraindicated in individuals younger than 18 years of age. It should also be used with caution in patients with pre-existing hypoparathyroidism or other conditions that may affect calcium metabolism. Patients should discuss their complete medical history with their healthcare provider before beginning treatment.

Uses

Densucor 60mg Injection uses for treating the following conditions: Osteoporosis Bone loss due to hormonal therapy in breast or prostate cancer Multiple myeloma (cancer affects plasma cells in the bone marrow) Bone metastases (cancer that spreads to bone)

How it works

Densucor 60mg Injection has therapeutic effects, including reducing fracture risk, increasing bone mineral density, and improving overall bone health. By inhibiting bone resorption through its action on RANK ligands, this medication helps to strengthen bones and decrease the likelihood of fractures in individuals with osteoporosis or those at high risk. It also increases bone mineral density, an important marker of bone strength. These therapeutic effects improve bone health and reduce the risk of fractures, ultimately enhancing patients' quality of life.

How to Use

Densucor 60mg Injection is administered by healthcare professionals. The Densucor injection dosage and treatment duration will be based on the individual's condition and response to the medication and should be determined by a healthcare provider.
