Diva HMG 75 IU Injection contains menotrophin, a gonadotropin medication used to stimulate ovulation. It is a highly purified combination of follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) and luteinizing hormone (LH), which are naturally occurring hormones in both men and women that support normal reproductive function.

This injection is used to treat infertility in women who are not ovulating, including those with polycystic ovarian disease (PCOD), especially when they have not responded to clomiphene citrate. It is also used in assisted reproductive techniques such as IVF, where it helps stimulate the development of multiple follicles. In men, it may be used to manage infertility associated with low sperm count.

Diva HMG 75 IU Injection should not be used in individuals who are allergic to menotrophin or any of its components. It is also contraindicated in patients with tumors of the pituitary gland, hypothalamus, uterus, ovaries, breasts, testes, or prostate. Additionally, it should not be given to patients with unexplained ovarian cysts, abnormal vaginal bleeding, early menopause, structural abnormalities of the reproductive organs, or those who are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Before starting treatment, your doctor may evaluate thyroid function, hormone levels, and screen for pituitary or hypothalamic disorders. Inform your healthcare provider if you have a history of liver disease or blood clotting disorders.

Seek medical attention promptly if you experience symptoms such as abdominal pain or swelling, rapid weight gain, diarrhea, difficulty breathing, or reduced urination during treatment.

Infertility in men and women

In the absence of sufficient endogenous luteinizing hormone (LH), Diva Hmg 75IU Injection bind to the follicle stimulating hormone receptor (FSH), resulting in ovulation. It also attaches to the LH receptor, causing appropriate hormone release and treats infertility in women and men.

It will be given to you by a doctor or nurse in a hospital or clinic setting. It is given as an intramuscular injection (into your muscles) or under the skin. Do not self-administer the injection. Your doctor will decide the dose, route of administration and duration of the treatment based on your disease severity, body weight, and other factors.

If you have missed any dosing appointments, inform your doctor and schedule immediately. This medicine can increase your risk of ectopic pregnancy (pregnancy outside of the womb) if you have a history of fallopian tube disease, miscarriage, multiple pregnancies (twins and triplets), and birth defects in the baby. Your doctor will regularly perform ultrasound scans and blood tests to monitor your response to the treatment.
