Product Introduction
Dixin 0.5mg Injection contains the active ingredient digoxin, a cardiac glycoside used in the management of arrhythmias and heart failure. An arrhythmia is a heartbeat irregularity in which the heart skips a beat, beats erratically, or beats at an incorrect speed. Heart failure is the inability of the heart to pump blood adequately to the body.
Dixin 0.5mg Injection is not recommended if you have allergies to digoxin, other cardiac glycosides, or any of its components. Inform your doctor if you have recently suffered a heart attack or any severe heart condition, received electric shock treatment to correct heartbeat, lung disease, kidney disease, thyroid disorders, high blood pressure, vitamin B1 deficiency, or malabsorption syndrome (inability to absorb minerals from food properly) before taking this medicine. Prior to starting treatment, discuss your complete medical history and current medications with your healthcare provider.

Digoxin works by correcting irregular heartbeats to a normal rhythm and strengthens the force of the heartbeat during heart failure.
How to Use
To take dixin 0.5mg Injection follow your doctor's instructions closely. The medicine is administered orally, with dosages determined based on your heart condition, age, weight, and kidney function. Regular blood tests are done for dose adjustments. The treatment typically involves a loading dose to quickly reach therapeutic levels, followed by a maintenance dose as directed by your physician. Children's doses are weight-dependent, and the elderly may receive lower doses due to reduced kidney function.
