Dlanz 60mg Capsule is an antiulcer medication belonging to the class of proton pump inhibitors (PPIs). It contains dexlansoprazole as its active ingredient. This medication is used to treat gastroesophageal reflux disease (a condition in which stomach acid and contents flow back into the oesophagus, causing heartburn, regurgitation, and difficulty swallowing), peptic ulcers, and other acid-related disorders. Inform your physician if you are allergic to this drug or any of its ingredients. Patients with severe liver impairment may experience reduced liver function, which can affect how the body metabolises and eliminates dexlansoprazole. In such patients, dosage adjustment or alternative treatment options may be necessary. Inform your physician if you have stomach problems, as dosage adjustment may be required in these conditions. This drug should not be given to children or adults under 18 years of age. Long-term use of this medicine may cause low magnesium levels in the blood (hypomagnesemia). Symptoms of hypomagnesemia include fatigue, muscle spasms or weakness, irregular heartbeat, and seizures. Report any of these symptoms to your physician immediately. Discuss the use of Dlanz 60mg Capsule with your physician if you are pregnant, may be pregnant, or are breastfeeding.
