Cancer is a condition in which cells grow and divide in an uncontrolled and abnormal way. This medicine may be given alone or together with other chemotherapy agents depending on the treatment plan.

Common side effects associated with this injection may include dizziness, headache, fever, infections, loss of appetite, difficulty sleeping, muscle or joint pain, eye-related issues, weight loss, fatigue, dry mouth, low blood pressure, and hair loss. Patients are advised to inform their doctor if any side effects become severe, persistent, or bothersome.

Before receiving this treatment, it is important to tell your doctor if you are allergic to docetaxel or any of its components. You should also inform your healthcare provider if you have kidney or heart disease, vision problems, epilepsy, or a history of alcohol use disorder. This medicine should not be used in individuals with very low white blood cell counts or severe liver impairment.
