Doceco 20mg Injection is an anticancer medication belonging to the taxoid class. It contains Docetaxel and is indicated for the treatment of breast, prostate, non-small cell lung, stomach, and head and neck cancers. Cancer is characterised by uncontrolled and abnormal multiplication of cells. This chemotherapy medication may be administered alone or in combination with other anticancer medicines.

Common side effects associated with Doceco 20mg Injection include dizziness, headache, fever, infections, loss of appetite, sleeping difficulty, joint or muscle pain, eye problems, weight loss, tiredness, dry mouth, reduced blood pressure, and hair loss. Inform your doctor if any of these side effects occur or persist.

Inform your doctor if you are allergic to Doceco 20mg Injection or any of its ingredients. Before commencing treatment, disclose to your physician if you have kidney problems, heart problems, vision problems, epilepsy, or alcohol addiction. Doceco 20mg Injection is contraindicated in patients with very low white blood cell counts or severe liver disease.

Inform your physician of all medicines you are taking, including supplements and herbal medicines, before starting treatment with Doceco 20mg Injection. Use effective contraception during treatment and for at least six months after the final dose.

Doceco 20mg Injection works by targeting the tiny tube-like structures inside cancer cells called microtubules. These microtubules are important for helping cancer cells divide and grow. By blocking them, Doceco 20mg Injection slows down the growth of cancer cells and eventually leads to their destruction.

Side effects are unwanted symptoms caused by medicines. Even though all medicines cause side effects, not everyone gets them. It is advised to use effective birth control for men and women taking Doceco 20mg Injection. Women of reproductive potential must use effective contraception during and after six months of therapy. Male patients receiving this Injection treatment should refrain from fathering children and use reliable contraception for six months following the treatment. Inform your healthcare provider if you experience the symptoms of intestinal problems, including stomach pain, tenderness, or diarrhea. Your doctor may suggest regular blood tests to monitor your blood cells and liver function during treatment with this medicine.
