Product Introduction
Docel 80mg Injection is an anticancer medication belonging to the taxoid class. It contains docetaxel and is indicated for the treatment of breast, prostate, non-small cell lung, stomach, and head and neck cancers. Cancer involves uncontrolled and abnormal cell multiplication. This chemotherapy medication may be used as monotherapy or in combination with other anticancer medicines.
Common side effects associated with Docel 80mg Injection include dizziness, headache, fever, infections, loss of appetite, sleeping disturbances, joint or muscle pain, eye problems, weight loss, fatigue, dry mouth, reduced blood pressure, and hair loss. Inform your doctor if any of these side effects occur or persist.
Inform your doctor if you have an allergy to docetaxel or any ingredients in this formulation. Before starting treatment, disclose to your physician any existing conditions including kidney disease, heart problems, vision disorders, epilepsy, or alcohol dependence. Docel 80mg Injection is contraindicated in patients with very low white blood cell counts or severe liver disease.
Inform your physician of all medications you are taking, including supplements and herbal medicines, prior to commencing Docel 80mg Injection treatment. Effective contraception should be used during treatment and for at least six months after the final dose.

How it works
Docel 80mg Injection works by inhibiting the microtubule structures present in the cell. Microtubule structures help cancer cells to divide and multiply, which slows the growth of cancer cells and eventually kills them.

Safety Advice
Pregnancy: unsafe It is unsafe to use during pregnancy as it may cause harmful effects on the unborn baby. Women with childbearing potential should use effective contraceptives during treatment and six months after the final dose.
Lungs: unsafe Inform your physician if you have any lung problems before the treatment with Docel 80mg Injection.
Breastfeeding: unsafe It is not recommended to breastfeed during the treatment with Docel 80mg Injection and for one week after the last dose.
