Product Introduction
Dracetyl T Tablet contains two active ingredients: N-acetylcysteine and Taurine. It is indicated in the treatment of diabetic kidney disease, a condition that can develop as a consequence of diabetes or sudden elevation in blood glucose levels. Without treatment, diabetic kidney disease may progress to kidney failure. The medication is commonly used to treat lung diseases including chronic bronchitis, as it facilitates breakdown and thinning of mucus in the airways, enabling easier expectoration. Additionally, N-acetylcysteine provides protective action against certain pharmaceutical agents such as paracetamol (acetaminophen) by helping prevent hepatic damage resulting from overdose or toxicity. Dracetyl T Tablet is contraindicated in individuals with known hypersensitivity or allergy to the medicine or any of its components. Use should be avoided when combined with topical antibiotics for relief of dry eye syndrome, as this combination can increase the risk of severe adverse reactions. Determination of appropriate treatment options for keratoconjunctivitis and dry eye syndrome requires physician consultation. This medicine is not recommended for use in patients experiencing severe acute asthma attacks. Asthma patients undergoing treatment with this medicine should be closely monitored. Any symptom development should be reported to the physician. Inform your physician of any existing heart, thyroid, kidney, or liver disease, as your doctor may prescribe a reduced dose and conduct regular blood tests. Use during pregnancy and breastfeeding is generally not recommended unless medically necessary.

How it works

These tablets are particularly beneficial in preventing the progression of microalbuminuria (the presence of small amounts of albumin in the urine) in patients with diabetic kidney disease.
