Product Introduction

Duphaston 10mg ART Tablet contains dydrogesterone as its active component. It is used to regulate irregular menstrual cycles and treat dysfunctional uterine bleeding, premenstrual syndrome, and secondary amenorrhea. It serves as hormone replacement therapy in postmenopausal women when estrogen therapy alone is contraindicated. In assisted reproductive techniques such as in vitro fertilization (IVF), it is combined with other medications to support embryo implantation. It may be prescribed in cases of threatened miscarriage to help maintain pregnancy.

Duphaston 10mg ART Tablet is contraindicated in individuals with known hypersensitivity or allergy to dydrogesterone or any component of the formulation. It should be avoided in patients with a history of thromboembolic disorders, including deep vein thrombosis, pulmonary embolism, or cerebrovascular accidents. Patients with severe liver impairment should not use this medication, as it may worsen the condition. It should not be used in women with undiagnosed vaginal bleeding until the underlying cause has been established. It is contraindicated in patients with known or suspected estrogen-dependent tumours, such as certain types of breast or uterine cancer, Dubin-Johnson syndrome, or Rotor syndrome.

Duphaston 10mg ART Tablet can be used in elderly patients, though caution is warranted in those with liver impairment or a history of thromboembolic disorders. Use in children and adolescents is not typically indicated.
