Duraplus Tablet

Duraplus tablet is a combination medicine containing tadalafil and dapoxetine, which belongs to the group of phosphodiesterase type 5 inhibitors and selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs), respectively. This medication is prescribed for adult men aged 18–64 years to address erectile dysfunction and premature ejaculation. Erectile dysfunction is characterised by an erection that is insufficiently firm for sexual engagement. Premature ejaculation occurs when men ejaculate too rapidly, often with minimal sexual arousal. The combination helps patients with premature ejaculation delay ejaculation and helps them achieve and maintain adequate erections for sexual activity. This medication should not be used in patients under 18 years of age or in women. Do not take tadalafil + dapoxetine if you are allergic to dapoxetine hydrochloride, tadalafil, or any component of this formulation. Use is not recommended if you have experienced a heart attack within the preceding three months, have hypotension, have mental health conditions such as depression or mania, have a history of bleeding or blood clotting disorders, or have significant hepatic or renal impairment. Before starting treatment, inform your doctor of your medical condition and provide a complete history of all medications you are currently taking.

Treatment should be started only under the guidance of a healthcare provider. It is advised to swallow the tablets whole to avoid a bitter taste. The tablets can be taken with or without food. Taking this medicine more than once every 24 hours or daily is not recommended. Your physician will decide the correct dosage and duration based on age, body weight, and disease condition.

If you experience prolonged and painful erections, immediate medical attention is necessary to prevent permanent erectile dysfunction. After taking the drug, if you feel dizzy, sit or lie down to avoid falling owing to low blood pressure. Consuming grapefruit juice for 24 hours before taking this medication is not recommended as it may raise the concentration of this medication in your body.
