Product Introduction
Dydrohope SR 30mg Tablet contains dydrogesterone as its active component. It is used to regulate irregular menstrual cycles and to treat dysfunctional uterine bleeding, premenstrual syndrome, and secondary amenorrhea. It is also prescribed as hormone replacement therapy in postmenopausal women, particularly when estrogen therapy alone is contraindicated. In assisted reproductive techniques such as in vitro fertilisation (IVF), it is combined with other medications to support embryo implantation. In threatened miscarriage, it may be prescribed to help maintain pregnancy.
Dydrohope SR 30mg Tablet should not be used in individuals with known hypersensitivity or allergy to dydrogesterone or any component of the tablet. It is contraindicated in patients with a history of thromboembolic disorders, including deep vein thrombosis, pulmonary embolism, or cerebrovascular accidents. Patients with severe liver impairment should not use this medication, as it may worsen the condition. In patients with undiagnosed vaginal bleeding, the underlying cause must be established before using Dydrohope SR 30mg Tablet. It should not be used in patients with known or suspected estrogen-dependent tumours, such as certain breast or uterine cancer types, Dubin-Johnson syndrome, or Rotor syndrome.
Dydrohope SR 30mg Tablet can be used in elderly patients; however, caution should be exercised, particularly in those with liver impairment or a history of thromboembolic disorders. It is not typically indicated for use in children and adolescents.
