Product Introduction

Dytor 40mg Tablet contains torasemide, a loop diuretic that reduces excess fluid in the body. It is used to treat oedema caused by fluid overload in patients with heart failure, liver disease, and kidney disease. It also helps manage high blood pressure.

Take this medication as directed by your doctor. It may be taken 4 hours before bed to minimise frequent urination during the night. Maintain a consistent time for daily dosing. Dosage depends on your condition and individual response to treatment.

Common side effects include headache, tiredness, dizziness, stomach upset, dehydration, and decreased blood pressure. Continue taking this medication even when you feel well. Do not stop without proper medical guidance, as this may worsen your condition.

Inform your doctor before starting Dytor 40mg Tablet if you have a history of kidney or liver disease. Disclose all medications you are currently taking. Notify your doctor if you are pregnant, planning pregnancy, or breastfeeding, as the medication may cause harmful effects and congenital disabilities in a developing child.

Potassium supplements should be added to your diet as this medication reduces potassium levels. Kidney function tests and electrolyte levels should be monitored regularly.

Alongside medication, lifestyle modifications including regular exercise, stress reduction, smoking cessation, and limiting alcohol consumption may enhance treatment effectiveness.
