Eiref C Capsule

Eiref C Capsule is a combination gastroprotectant medication containing cinitapride and pantoprazole. It is indicated for the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), a condition in which stomach acid and contents flow back into the esophagus. The capsule is also used to treat non-ulcer dyspepsia, characterised by chronic pain or discomfort in the upper abdomen.

Eiref C Capsule is contraindicated in patients with tardive dyskinesia, a movement disorder associated with long-term use of certain neuroleptic drugs. If a patient has a confirmed history of tardive dyskinesia related to neuroleptic use, this medication should be avoided. Gastrointestinal haemorrhages, obstructions, or perforations are also contraindications. These conditions involve structural abnormalities or severe damage to the gastrointestinal tract, and the increased gastric motility caused by this drug could worsen the situation or lead to further complications. Inform your doctor about any underlying issues, and they may provide appropriate medical interventions.

Eiref C Capsule should not be prescribed to patients with a known history of allergic reactions or hypersensitivity to the drug or any of its ingredients. If you suspect an allergic reaction, inform your healthcare provider before starting or continuing the medication.

Eiref C Capsule is not recommended for use during the first three months of pregnancy. If you suspect pregnancy or are planning to become pregnant and have concerns about using this drug, discuss this with your healthcare provider.

Take the Eiref C Capsule as advised by your physician. Swallow the capsule whole and intact. This capsule should be taken with food. Do not crush, chew, or open the medicine.
