Product Introduction
Embeddox Injection is an antibiotic containing Doxycycline, which belongs to the tetracycline class of antibiotics. It is used to treat a wide range of bacterial infections, including severe respiratory infections, urinary tract infections, skin infections, sexually transmitted infections, and certain types of malaria. Doctors may prescribe it when oral treatment is not suitable, particularly in hospitalised patients. This medicine is typically administered in hospitals under the supervision of a healthcare professional. It is particularly beneficial for patients unable to take oral medication or those with serious infections requiring immediate intervention. Before using this medicine, inform your doctor if you have allergies to tetracyclines or any other antibiotics. Uses

How it works
Doxycycline works by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis. It binds to the 30S ribosomal subunit, preventing bacteria from making the proteins they need to grow and multiply. This stops the infection from spreading and helps the body’s immune system eliminate the bacteria.

Safety Advice
Pregnancy: Unsafe Embeddox Injection is not recommended during pregnancy as it may harm the developing baby (risk of tooth discolouration and bone growth effects).
