Product Introduction
Embopag 25mg Tablet contains Eltrombopag, a thrombopoietin (TPO) receptor agonist that helps increase platelet production in the bone marrow. It is prescribed to treat low platelet counts (thrombocytopenia) in patients with primary immune thrombocytopenia (ITP), chronic hepatitis C (HCV)-associated thrombocytopenia, and severe aplastic anemia. In ITP, the immune system destroys platelets, increasing the risk of excessive bleeding and bruising, while in severe aplastic anemia, the bone marrow fails to produce enough healthy blood cells. Embopag 25mg Tablet uses include reducing the risk of bleeding by restoring platelet levels and improving the body's ability to form blood clots.
The active ingredient, Eltrombopag, works by stimulating thrombopoietin receptors in the bone marrow, promoting the production of new platelets. The Embopag 25mg Tablet dosage is individualized based on your platelet count, medical condition, and response to treatment, so it should always be taken exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Regular blood tests are required to monitor platelet levels and reduce the risk of complications, including blood clots caused by excessively high platelet counts. If you are considering the Embopag 25mg Tablet price or planning to buy Embopag 25mg Tablet online, ensure you purchase it only from a licensed pharmacy. Embopag 25mg Tablet alternatives are available if needed, but they should only be used under the guidance of a healthcare professional.
