Product Introduction
Emduo E Kit 30mg Tablet is a combination antiretroviral medication containing Efavirenz, Lamivudine, and Stavudine. It is indicated for the treatment of HIV-1 infection. HIV-1 is a human immunodeficiency virus that attacks and destroys cells involved in the immune system, decreasing the body's ability to fight infections and leading to serious illness if untreated. CD4 cells, or T-helper cells, are essential immune system components. HIV attacks and destroys CD4 cells, weakening immune function. This medication can help increase CD4 cell counts, indicating immune system recovery and improved defence against infections. Before taking Emduo E Kit 30mg Tablet, inform your doctor if you have liver disease, including hepatitis B or C, kidney disease, cardiac conditions, diabetes, history of seizures, or mental health disorders. Patients with a history of mental health conditions require close monitoring during treatment. Do not share personal items such as toothbrushes or razors with others. Patients should discuss safe sex practices with their doctor. This medication may cause lipodystrophy syndrome, characterised by changes in body fat distribution, including fat loss from the face, arms, and legs, and increased fat deposition in the abdomen and upper back.

How it works
The Emduo E Kit 30mg Tablet forms a potent antiretroviral therapy (ART) regimen for individuals living with HIV. This medication works synergistically, suppresses viral replication, reduces viral load, and improves immune function. By inhibiting the reverse transcriptase enzyme of HIV, these medications help control the progression of HIV infection, increase CD4 cell counts, and maintain long-term viral suppression.
How to Use
It is an orally available prescription drug. Healthcare providers decide the dose and duration of Emduo E Kit 30mg Tablet based on the disease condition and other factors such as body weight and age. Take the tablet at the same time, with or without food. Do not break, chew, crush, or break the tablet. Swallow the whole tablet with a glass of water.
