Emlap Gel 30gm

Emlap Gel 30gm contains lidocaine and prilocaine, local anesthetics used topically on the skin to numb the area before certain medical procedures or minor surgeries. The combination may also reduce pain or discomfort associated with specific skin conditions.

Do not use Emlap Gel 30gm if you are allergic to lidocaine, prilocaine, other local anesthetics, or any ingredient in the gel. Avoid contact with the eyes, as it may cause irritation. If the gel accidentally enters the eye, rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water or sodium chloride solution. Do not expose the eye to anything until sensation returns.

Before using this gel, inform your physician if you or your child have glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency, a rare inherited condition affecting blood that may require special consideration with this product.

Do not apply this gel to areas with skin rash, cuts, scrapes, or other open wounds, except for leg ulcers. If such conditions are present, consult your physician before use.

If you are pregnant, may be pregnant, or are planning pregnancy, consult your physician before using this gel. Some active substances in Emlap Gel 30gm may pass into breast milk, though the amount transferred is minimal and generally considered safe for breastfeeding infants.

Treatment of local pain relief

Emlap Gel 30gm work by blocking nerve signals in the body. They inhibit the transmission of pain signals from the nerves to the brain, resulting in temporary numbness in the treated area.

Emlap Gel 30gm should only be used under the supervision of a doctor or nurse. For surface skin procedures, your physician will apply a generous amount of the gel to cover the area. Gently rub or massage it into the skin, and ensure it remains in contact with the skin for the recommended duration.

Dehydration can lead to other complications, so it's necessary to prioritize hydration even when you can't feel your mouth or throat properly.
