Product Introduction

Emletra tablets contain lopinavir and ritonavir, antiretroviral medications used to treat HIV-1 infection in combination with other medicines. HIV-1 is a human immunodeficiency virus that attacks and destroys immune system cells, reducing the body's ability to fight infections and leading to death if left untreated.

Inform your doctor if you have liver disease, hepatitis B or C, kidney disease, or heart disorders. Emletra Tablet can slow the progression of HIV infection and improve immune function. The medicine may increase bleeding risk in patients with haemophilia type A and B, which are clotting disorders. Use of this medicine may lead to immune reconstitution syndrome and redistribution and accumulation of body fat.

Do not share personal objects such as razors, towels, or toothbrushes with anyone. Do not breastfeed. Discuss safe sex practices with your doctor. Patients with known hypersensitivity or allergy to lopinavir, ritonavir, or other components of the medicine should not use it.

This leads to increased CD4 cell count and reduced virus transmission to others.
