Emrok O 500mg Tablet contains Levonadifloxacin, a quinolone antibiotic used to treat a wide range of bacterial infections. It is commonly prescribed for skin and soft tissue infections (SSTIs) and may also be used to manage diabetic foot infections, bacteremia (bacterial bloodstream infections), and hospital-acquired or community-acquired pneumonia caused by susceptible bacteria. Emrok O 500mg Tablet works by inhibiting bacterial DNA replication, preventing the growth and spread of infection. It is effective only against bacterial infections and should not be used to treat viral illnesses such as the common cold or flu.
