Product Introduction
Endace 160mg Tablet contains megestrol, a progestogen used to treat hormone-dependent cancers, particularly breast cancer. It is a synthetic form of the naturally occurring progesterone hormone.
Endace 160mg Tablet is prescribed for patients with breast cancer whose disease has progressed despite conventional anti-estrogen therapy. Your doctor will assess oestrogen receptor (ER) status to confirm that your breast cancer is oestrogen receptor-positive. Dosage should be determined by your doctor based on your condition and response to treatment.
In addition to cancer treatment, Endace 160mg Tablet is used to manage unexplained weight loss, cachexia, and anorexia in patients with compromised immune systems and cancer. The active ingredient, megestrol acetate, is responsible for its therapeutic effects, including weight gain in patients with HIV.
Endace 160mg Tablet is available from registered pharmacies, with alternative formulations available. Your doctor can advise on the appropriate dosage and suitability for your individual circumstances.
