Endydro Tablet

Endydro Tablet contains dydrogesterone as its active component. It is used to regulate irregular menstrual cycles and to treat dysfunctional uterine bleeding, premenstrual syndrome, and secondary amenorrhea. It is also used as hormone replacement therapy in postmenopausal women, particularly when estrogen therapy alone is contraindicated. It is combined with other medications in assisted reproductive techniques, such as in vitro fertilisation (IVF), to support embryo implantation. In some cases of threatened miscarriage, it may be prescribed to help maintain the pregnancy.

Endydro Tablet should not be used in individuals with known hypersensitivity or allergy to dydrogesterone or its components. It should be avoided in patients with a history of thromboembolic disorders, such as deep vein thrombosis, pulmonary embolism, or cerebrovascular accidents. Patients with severe liver impairment should not use this medication, as it may exacerbate the condition. Endydro Tablet should not be used in women experiencing undiagnosed vaginal bleeding until the cause has been established. It is contraindicated in patients with known or suspected estrogen-dependent tumours, such as certain breast or uterine cancer types, Dubin-Johnson syndrome, or Rotor syndrome.

Endydro Tablet can be used in elderly patients; however, caution should be exercised, especially in those with liver impairment or a history of thromboembolic disorders. Use in children and adolescents is not typically indicated.
