Entriase Tablet

Entriase tablet contains the active components pancreatin, calcium, and ox bile. It is indicated for easing digestion and inadequate nutrient absorption. This medication treats various conditions, including cystic fibrosis (a rare genetic disorder that causes thick mucus to build up in the lungs and other organs) and pancreatitis (pancreas inflammation). It is also used in surgical procedures involving the pancreas or gastric organs.

Do not take Entriase tablet if you are allergic to it or any of its ingredients. Do not take this medication if you have acute pancreatitis and bile duct obstruction, as it can worsen these conditions. This medication contains calcium, which can increase blood calcium levels. Do not take this medication if you have hypercalcemia.

Use this medication cautiously if you are taking certain medications, such as anticoagulants, thiazide diuretics, and digitalis glycosides. Entriase tablet should also be used cautiously in renal impairment and chronic pancreatitis.

This medication is generally safe and well-tolerated in older adults. However, older adults may be more likely to experience side effects like constipation and diarrhoea.

This medication is not recommended for children under the age of 6. The safety and efficacy of this medication in children under the age of 6 have not been established.
