Product Introduction
Erlib 150mg Tablet contains erlotinib, an anticancer medicine and tyrosine kinase receptor inhibitor. It is used in the treatment of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), an advanced and spreading type of lung cancer. When used in combination with gemcitabine, a chemotherapeutic medicine, it is also used to treat pancreatic cancer. The medicine works by blocking the epidermal growth factor receptors (EGFR), a protein that promotes cancer growth. Patients with cancer showing certain changes in the EGFR gene may respond to treatment with this medicine.
Inform your doctor before starting treatment if you are using any stomach acid-lowering medicine, as it may reduce the effectiveness of Erlib 150mg Tablet. Inform your physician if you have any kidney or lung-related problems. Ensure you inform your physician of all medicines you are taking before beginning treatment with this medication. Report any symptoms including difficulty breathing with cough or fever, chest pain, weakness, or seizures.
