Product Introduction

Estofert TG Gel contains estradiol, an active ingredient belonging to vaginal Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) medicines. It is a form of estrogen with identical properties to the hormone naturally synthesised by women's ovaries. The gel is indicated for treatment of menopausal symptoms including vaginal atrophy (dryness or irritation of the vagina) in elderly women who have passed menopause.

Do not use Estofert TG Gel if you are allergic to estradiol or its constituents. It is contraindicated in patients with breast cancer or any oestrogen receptor-sensitive cancer. Avoid use if you have a clotting disorder, blood clots in veins (lungs or legs), or unexplained vaginal bleeding. Do not use if you have experienced heart attack, stroke, or angina, or if you have abnormal liver function tests. It is not given to patients with porphyria, a rare inherited blood disorder.

Estrogen intake elevates the risk of gallbladder disease. Discontinue use if you experience cholestatic jaundice, severe hypertriglyceridemia, severe hypercalcemia, or vision loss. Careful monitoring is advised in women receiving thyroid replacement treatment.

Inform your doctor if you have vaginal bleeding, heart, kidney, lung or liver problems, diabetes, asthma, high blood pressure, or hearing disorder. Discuss your medical history with your doctor if you are planning pregnancy, may be pregnant, or are breastfeeding. Inform your healthcare provider of all medicines you are taking, including herbal, vitamin, and over-the-counter products.

Estofert TG Gel pricing varies by retailer and location.
