Product Introduction
Etovel 100mg Injection contains Etoposide, an anticancer medicine that belongs to the class of cytostatic agents. It is used to treat several types of cancer by slowing or stopping the growth of cancer cells. Etovel 100mg Injection is commonly prescribed for the treatment of testicular cancer, small-cell lung cancer, acute myeloid leukemia (AML), Hodgkin lymphoma, non-Hodgkin lymphoma, and ovarian cancer in adults.
Before starting treatment with Etovel 100mg Injection, inform your doctor if you have recently received radiotherapy or chemotherapy, or if you have an active infection or low blood protein (albumin) levels. This medicine should not be used if you have recently been vaccinated with yellow fever or any live vaccine, as it may increase the risk of serious infections due to a weakened immune system.
Tell your healthcare provider about your complete medical history, especially if you have kidney disease, liver impairment, or any other underlying health conditions. Your doctor may adjust your treatment plan and closely monitor your condition throughout therapy.
Etovel 100mg Injection may harm an unborn baby. Both men and women should use effective contraception during treatment and for at least 6 months after the final dose. Men are also advised not to father a child during this period, as the medicine may affect fertility. If you are planning to have children in the future, discuss fertility preservation options with your doctor before beginning treatment.
Treatment with Etovel 100mg Injection can reduce the number of white blood cells, red blood cells, and platelets, increasing the risk of infections, anemia, and bleeding. To ensure safe treatment, your doctor will perform regular blood tests to monitor your blood cell counts, as well as kidney and liver function. The safety and effectiveness of Etovel 100mg Injection in children have not been fully established; therefore, its use in pediatric patients should only be considered if recommended by a specialist.
Uses
Testicular cancer Small-cell lung cancer Acute myeloid leukemia (blood cancer) Hodgkinâs lymphoma and non-Hodgkinâs lymphoma Ovarian cancer
How it works
Etovel 100mgworks by inhibiting the activity of topoisomerase II (essential for cell replication) and DNA synthesis, which will prevent cancer cells from growing and multiplying, ultimately leading to cell death.

Expert Tips
Discuss your fertility problem with the doctor since, in men, it is advised not to father a child during and after the 6 months of treatment. So it is advised to get suggestions about fertility concerns. Avoid planning for the pregnancy. If you experience any symptoms mentioned as a side effect, consult your doctor immediately. Notify your doctor immediately if you have undergone or are taking or planning any radiotherapy or chemotherapy. Inform your doctor immediately if you took any vaccines inducing yellow fever and live vaccine and other medications before starting with Etovel 100mg because it might reduce the effectiveness of this medicine and may cause side effects. Inform your doctor if you have or had any history of heart disease, kidney problems, or liver problems.
