Eupen 1gm Injection

Eupen 1gm Injection is a carbapenem antibiotic containing Meropenem. It is used to treat bacterial infections caused by susceptible organisms, including skin, lung, urinary, and gynaecological infections. It is also used for prevention of surgical site infections.

Eupen 1gm Injection is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity or allergic reactions to other beta-lactam antibiotics, including penicillins or cephalosporins. Patients who have experienced severe diarrhoea following other antibiotics should inform their physician prior to use.

Eupen 1gm Injection can reduce serum concentrations of valproic acid, a medication used to treat seizures and certain mental health conditions, potentially leading to decreased effectiveness of valproic acid.
