Product Introduction
Eutrig XP 5000IU Injection contains Chorionic Gonadotropin (hCG), a hormone that belongs to the class of luteinising hormone (LH) analogues. It is widely used in fertility treatment to trigger ovulation in women who are undergoing assisted reproductive techniques such as in vitro fertilisation (IVF). By stimulating the release of mature eggs from the ovaries, Eutrig XP 5000IU Injection improves the chances of successful conception.
In men, Eutrig XP 5000IU Injection is prescribed to treat hypogonadism, a condition in which the body produces insufficient testosterone. It helps stimulate the testes to increase testosterone production, supporting normal sexual development and reproductive function. The injection is also used in young boys with undescended testicles (cryptorchidism) to encourage the descent of the testes into the scrotum.
The common side effects of Eutrig XP 5000IU Injection include pain, redness, swelling, or irritation at the injection site, headache, fatigue, mood changes, fluid retention, and mild depression. These effects are usually temporary, but if they persist or worsen, seek medical advice. Women receiving fertility treatment should be aware of the risk of ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS). Contact your doctor immediately if you experience severe lower abdominal pain, sudden weight gain, abdominal swelling, or difficulty breathing.
Do not use Eutrig XP 5000IU Injection if you are allergic to Chorionic Gonadotropin or any of its ingredients. It should be used with caution in patients with a history of blood clotting disorders, heart disease, liver disease, kidney disease, or other serious medical conditions. This medicine is generally not recommended during pregnancy, as it may affect the developing baby. Always inform your healthcare provider about your complete medical history before starting treatment and use the injection only as prescribed for safe and effective results.
