Evenity Injection

Evenity Injection contains romosozumab, a humanised monoclonal antibody that promotes bone formation while simultaneously inhibiting bone resorption. It belongs to the anti-osteoporotic agents class and is indicated for the treatment of osteoporosis in postmenopausal women who are at high risk of fractures. By increasing bone mineral density and strength, Evenity Injection reduces the risk of both vertebral and non-vertebral fractures in patients with severe osteoporosis. This treatment is particularly recommended for patients who have not responded well to other osteoporosis therapies. Evenity Injection is used for reducing the likelihood of fractures in postmenopausal women who have experienced multiple fractures or are at risk due to significantly low bone mass. It is administered as a subcutaneous injection once a month for 12 months. The typical dose is 210 mg per month, provided as two consecutive injections. Patients are usually transitioned to anti-resorptive therapy following completion of the 12-month course to maintain the benefits gained.
