Product Introduction

Extralast 30mg tablet contains dapoxetine as its active ingredient. It is used to treat premature ejaculation (PE) in men. Premature ejaculation is a common sexual health condition where there is inability to delay ejaculation during sexual activity, which may cause distress and dissatisfaction for both the patient and their partner. Extralast 30mg tablet helps improve ejaculatory control and prolongs the time to ejaculation, enabling men to experience longer and more satisfying sexual activity.

Extralast 30mg tablet is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to dapoxetine or its components, severe hepatic impairment, severe renal impairment, and those taking monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) or other SSRIs. It should be avoided in patients with a history of mania or bipolar disorder, certain cardiovascular disorders, and epilepsy owing to potential adverse effects and drug interactions. This medication is not recommended for use in paediatric populations (individuals under 18 years) as safety and efficacy in this age group have not been established through clinical trials. Use in elderly patients is generally not advised due to potential differences in drug efficacy, metabolism, and increased risk of adverse effects.

Uses

How it works

Extralast 30mg tablet's mechanism of action involves inhibiting serotonin reuptake in the brain, leading to increased serotonin levels in the synaptic clefts. This alteration in serotonin levels helps delay ejaculation by improving ejaculatory control and extending the time it takes for ejaculation to occur. As a result, this medication effectively treats premature ejaculation, providing men with enhanced sexual experiences and satisfaction.
