Product Introduction
Ezentia 10mg tablet contains ezetimibe as the active ingredient. It is used primarily in the treatment of elevated cholesterol. Excessive fatty substances in the blood and vessels can narrow blood vessels, increasing the risk of heart attack or stroke. This medication works to lower LDL cholesterol, referred to as "bad" cholesterol. Regular monitoring of cholesterol levels is recommended. To optimise the effectiveness of this medication and manage cholesterol levels, patients should maintain good dietary habits, exercise regularly, limit high-fat foods, avoid smoking and alcohol, and work towards weight reduction. Inform your doctor of all medications you are currently taking before starting this medication. Joint pain and diarrhea are the most commonly reported side effects. Caution is advised if you have a history of kidney or liver problems, as this should be discussed with your doctor. This medication is contraindicated in pregnant women, women planning pregnancy, and breastfeeding mothers.
