Farostead 200mg Tablet is a beta-lactam antibiotic containing Faropenem as the active ingredient. It is used to treat various bacterial infections, including those of the lungs, urinary tract, skin, and gynaecological sites. The tablet is contraindicated in individuals with known hypersensitivity or allergy to Faropenem or any component of the formulation. If you develop a rash or skin symptoms, discontinue the tablet and contact your doctor immediately. Patients with renal insufficiency or impaired kidney function may require dosage adjustments or longer intervals between doses of Farostead 200mg Tablet. Proper dosing is essential to prevent accumulation of the medication in the body, which could result in adverse effects. Patients with poor oral intake may be at risk of developing symptoms of vitamin K deficiency during treatment. Close monitoring is advised, and appropriate measures should be taken if any deficiency-related symptoms are observed.
