Product Introduction

Feruno 1000mg Injection contains Iron (III) Isomaltoside as its active ingredient. It is an anti-anemic medicine used for iron replacement therapy in the treatment of iron deficiency anaemia in adults who are intolerant to oral iron or who have shown inadequate response to oral iron preparations. The injection is also indicated for iron deficiency anaemia in patients with chronic kidney disease receiving dialysis who cannot tolerate oral iron supplementation. Due to insufficient safety and efficacy data, Feruno 1000mg Injection is not recommended for patients under 18 years of age, including children and adolescents.

Do not use Feruno 1000mg Injection if you are allergic to Iron (III) Isomaltoside or any component of the formulation. Contraindications include anaemia not caused by iron deficiency (such as haemolytic anaemia), iron overload or impaired iron utilisation, history of severe allergic reactions to other injectable iron preparations, and active liver disease.

Before receiving Feruno 1000mg Injection, inform your doctor if you have a history of medicine allergy, systemic lupus erythematosus, rheumatoid arthritis, or severe asthma. Also notify your doctor if you have eczema, other allergies, active bacterial infection in the blood, or reduced liver function.
