Firmagon 80mg Injection is a prescription medicine indicated in the treatment of advanced prostate cancer. It functions by lowering testosterone levels in the body, thereby slowing or halting the progression of cancer cells.
How it works
Firmagon contains degarelix, a medicine that blocks signals in the body that tell the testes to produce testosterone. By lowering testosterone levels it helps control prostate cancer progression.
