Product Introduction

Flecajol 50 Tablet is a prescription medicine used to treat certain serious cardiac arrhythmias including atrial fibrillation, supraventricular tachycardia (SVT), and certain types of dangerous irregular rhythms originating from the lower chambers of the heart. The active ingredient is Flecainide, which functions by reducing abnormal electrical signals in the heart to restore normal rhythm. It is administered orally as a tablet and must be used only as directed by your doctor, as it carries risk of serious adverse effects if not taken appropriately. It is contraindicated in patients with recent myocardial infarction or severe heart failure.

Uses

Doctors may give you Flecajol 50 Tablet for: Atrial fibrillation or flutter – fast, uneven heartbeats from the top chambers of your heart. Supraventricular tachycardia (SVT) – sudden spells of very fast heartbeat starting above the ventricles. Ventricular arrhythmias – dangerous rhythm problems starting in the lower chambers. This medicine helps your heart pump better and can reduce symptoms like dizziness, shortness of breath, or chest discomfort caused by irregular rhythms.

How it works

Your heart has its own “electrical wiring” to keep the beats steady. In arrhythmia, these signals can get too fast, too slow, or mixed up. Flecajol blocks certain sodium channels in the heart muscle, which calms down those overactive signals. Think of it like fixing a flickering tube light—it evens out the flow so everything runs smoothly again.

How to Use

Take it exactly the way your doctor told you, usually at the same time every day. Swallow the tablet whole with water, with or without food. Don’t stop suddenly or change your dose yourself—it can make your heart problem worse. Important: Never adjust your dose yourself. Only your doctor should decide how much and how often you take it.

Side Effects

Common: Dizziness or lightheadedness Blurred or double vision Nausea or stomach upset Feeling tired Serious (get medical help immediately): New or worsening irregular heartbeat Chest pain, shortness of breath, or fainting Swelling in legs or sudden weight gain Yellowing of skin or eyes
