Product Introduction

Forcef CV 500mg Tablet contains Cefuroxime and Clavulanic Acid, a combination of antibiotics used to treat a variety of bacterial infections. Cefuroxime destroys bacterial cell walls, while Clavulanic Acid prevents bacterial resistance by protecting Cefuroxime from breakdown. It is commonly prescribed for respiratory tract, urinary tract, skin, and ear infections.

Do not take Forcef CV 500mg Tablet if you are allergic to Cefuroxime, Clavulanic Acid, or any of its ingredients. Inform your doctor if you have a history of allergy to penicillin or cephalosporin antibiotics, liver or kidney disease, or gastrointestinal disorders such as antibiotic-associated diarrhoea. Seek medical advice if you experience persistent diarrhoea, abdominal pain, or skin rashes during treatment.

Use this medicine with caution in patients with liver or kidney problems, as dose adjustments may be required. Prolonged use may lead to fungal infections, while high doses or kidney impairment can increase the risk of seizures. Seek immediate medical attention if you develop symptoms of a severe allergic reaction, such as difficulty breathing, swelling, or hives.

How it works

Forcef CV 500mg Tablet works to fight bacterial infections. Cefuroxime disrupts bacterial cell wall synthesis, leading to bacterial death. Clavulanic acid blocks beta-lactamase enzymes, which would otherwise deactivate Cefuroxime. This combination ensures Cefuroxime remains effective against a broader range of bacteria, including those that produce beta-lactamase.

How to Use

You can take Forcef CV 500mg Tablet orally. Oral forms are usually taken after food to enhance absorption. The dosage depends on the infection type and factors like age and weight. Always follow your healthcare provider’s prescribed dosing schedule for the best results.
