Product Introduction

Freedase 30 Tablet is an oral contraceptive combining Ethinyl Estradiol, a synthetic estrogen, and Dienogest, a progestin. This hormonal contraceptive is indicated for contraception and treatment of endometriosis. The medication works by regulating hormone levels to prevent pregnancy and reduce endometriosis-related symptoms. Adherence to the prescribed dosage is necessary for efficacy and to minimise potential adverse effects.

Freedase 30 Tablet is contraindicated in women with a history of blood clots, liver disease, or uncontrolled hypertension. It should not be used during pregnancy and requires cautious use in breastfeeding mothers. Like other hormonal contraceptives, it may interact with certain medications, and medical consultation is recommended before initiating therapy.

Uses

Freedase 30 tablet uses: Contraception – Prevents pregnancy by inhibiting ovulation and altering cervical mucus. Endometriosis treatment – Reduces pain and suppresses endometrial tissue growth. Menstrual cycle regulation – Helps manage irregular or painful periods. Acne management (off-label) – Reduces androgen levels to improve skin condition.

How it works

Freedase 30 Tablet works by stabilising hormone levels in the body. Ethinyl Estradiol increases estrogen levels, preventing the natural surge that triggers ovulation. Dienogest, a synthetic progestin, thickens cervical mucus, making it difficult for sperm to reach the uterus. It also alters the uterine lining, reducing the chances of implantation. In women with endometriosis, this Freedase 30 Tablet helps reduce estrogen stimulation, slowing the growth of endometrial tissue and alleviating associated pain. By maintaining hormonal balance, it also regulates menstrual cycles and reduces symptoms of hormonal acne.

How to Use

Freedase 30 Tablet is available in oral tablet form and should be taken once daily, preferably at the same time each day to maintain its effectiveness. It can be taken with or without food, depending on personal preference. To ensure optimal contraceptive efficacy, it is essential not to skip doses. If starting this medication for the first time, it is recommended to begin on the first day of menstruation for immediate protection against pregnancy.
