Product Introduction

Fungisome 10mg Injection contains the active substance Liposomal Amphotericin B, an antifungal antibiotic used to treat severe fungal infections that affect internal organs. It is also prescribed to treat suspected fungal infections in patients with fever and neutropenia (low white blood cell count). Additionally, it is effective in treating visceral leishmaniasis (Kala-azar), a parasitic infection found in certain regions. Before starting therapy, your doctor may administer a small test dose of this injection to check for allergic reactions. Do not receive this medicine if you are allergic to amphotericin B or any of its ingredients. Inform your doctor if you have kidney or liver problems, are on dialysis, or have low potassium levels. This medicine contains sugar in each vial, so patients with diabetes should notify their doctor before use. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult their healthcare provider before treatment. Common side effects may include skin rash, anemia, low potassium levels, diarrhea, insomnia, or shortness of breath. The injection is not recommended for infants below one month of age. The Fungisome 10 mg manufacturer ensures high-quality production standards. In some cases, doctors may suggest a Fungisome 10 mg substitute if the original brand is unavailable. This medicine has shown strong results in treating difficult fungal infections, especially mucormycosis and Kala-azar, with positive outcomes in many Fungisome 10 mg reviews. The Fungisome 10 mg composition provides a liposomal formulation that reduces toxicity and improves drug delivery for better patient safety and effectiveness.
