Gabawin ER 82.5mg Tablet is an anti-epileptic or anticonvulsant drug containing the active ingredient Pregabalin. It belongs to the GABA analogue medication class, which works to prevent or reduce seizures in patients with epilepsy and certain other neurological disorders. This medicine is indicated for the treatment of epilepsy, generalised anxiety disorder (GAD), and neuropathic pain (pain arising from damaged nerves) in adults. It is also used to treat fibromyalgia (widespread body pain), nerve damage occurring in patients with diabetes, and spinal cord injury-related neuropathy. Gabawin ER 82.5mg Tablet should not be used if you are allergic to Pregabalin or any ingredients in the formulation. Before taking Gabawin ER 82.5mg Tablet, inform your doctor if you have experienced serious skin rashes including Stevens-Johnson syndrome and toxic epidermal necrolysis, dizziness, blurred or loss of vision, thoughts of self-harm, or suicidal behaviour. Also notify your doctor if you have gastrointestinal issues, convulsions, reduced brain function (encephalopathy), breathing difficulties, or a history of serious medical conditions including heart, liver, or kidney disease.
