Product Introduction
Gemtide 750mcg injection contains teriparatide as its active component. Teriparatide is a synthetic form of parathyroid hormone (PTH), which is naturally produced by the parathyroid glands. It is used in the treatment of osteoporosis, a condition characterised by weakened bones that increases the risk of fractures. Fractures resulting from osteoporosis can significantly impact quality of life, causing pain and limiting mobility. Gemtide 750mcg injection works by stimulating the formation of new bone tissue and increasing bone mineral density. This medication has been shown to speed up bone healing in patients with fractures. It promotes the formation of callus, the initial calcified bridge of new bone that develops during the healing process, enabling faster and more effective recovery. Gemtide 750mcg injection should not be used in patients with known hypersensitivity or allergic reaction to teriparatide or any of its components. It is contraindicated in patients with a history of skeletal malignancies, such as osteosarcoma, or those with bone metastases. Use is not advised in patients who have received prior radiation therapy to the skeleton due to the potential risk of osteosarcoma development.
Uses

How it works
Gemtide 750mcg injection, exerts a therapeutic effect by stimulating the formation of new bone tissue and increasing bone mineral density. It offers significant benefits such as increased bone density, fracture risk reduction, improved quality of life, and serves as an alternative for individuals who have not responded well to other osteoporosis treatments.
