Product Introduction

Genryzon 24mg Injection is a long-acting recombinant human growth hormone analogue indicated for treatment of growth hormone deficiency in children and adolescents aged 3 years and above. This medication promotes normal growth by stimulating bone and muscle development and maintains appropriate fat and muscle tissue distribution. The active substance, somatrogon, is produced using recombinant DNA technology in which laboratory-modified cells synthesise the hormone. Beyond treating growth deficiencies, Genryzon 24mg Injection supports improvements in muscle mass, bone density, and overall body composition. Contraindications include severe obesity, active malignancy, diabetes, acute critical illness, sleep apnoea, hypersensitivity to somatrogon, and other severe medical conditions. Patients experiencing difficulty breathing, tachycardia, swelling, or severe allergic reactions should contact their doctor immediately. Those with histories of cardiac disease, diabetes, malignancy, or thyroid dysfunction must inform their healthcare provider prior to commencing treatment. The effect of Genryzon 24mg Injection on fertility remains unknown. Use during pregnancy is not recommended. Patients who are pregnant, planning pregnancy, or breastfeeding should discuss treatment with their doctor.

Uses

Genryzon 24mg Injection is used to treat children and adolescents (ages 3 years and above) diagnosed with growth hormone deficiency (GHD). The deficiency leads to a slower growth rate compared to normal. Genryzon 24mg Injection helps to restore healthy growth patterns by providing a synthetic form of human growth hormone.

How it works

Genryzon 24mg Injection contains the active substance somatrogon, a modified version of the human growth hormone. This hormone is essential for promoting bone and muscle development and regulating the right balance between fat and muscle tissue. By supplementing the body's natural hormone levels, it ensures proper growth in children with GHD.

How to Use

Genryzon 24mg Injection should be administered once weekly, preferably on the same day each week. The dose can be given at any time of the day, but it is essential to maintain at least 72 hours (3 days) between doses if a change in schedule is necessary. Genryzon 24mg Injection can be injected subcutaneously (under the skin) in areas such as your abdomen, thighs, buttocks, or upper arms. Always rotate the injection site to prevent irritation or discomfort. If more than one injection is required, ensure each one is administered at a different site.
