Product Introduction

Gufitrig 5000IU Injection is an antineoplastic drug belonging to the class of luteinising hormone analogues containing the active ingredient chorionic gonadotropin. This medicine is primarily used in fertility treatment to stimulate ovulation in women undergoing in vitro fertilisation (IVF). In male patients with hypogonadism (inadequate testosterone production), it is used to stimulate testosterone production. It is also indicated for the treatment of undescended testicles (cryptorchidism, involving descent of the testes to a lower anatomical position). Common side effects include pain, redness, and swelling at the injection site, headache, fatigue, depression, and fluid retention. Notify your healthcare provider if these side effects cause concern or persist beyond the expected duration. This medicine may increase the risk of ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome. Seek medical attention if you experience lower abdominal pain, rapid weight gain, or breathing difficulty. Gufitrig 5000IU Injection is contraindicated in pregnant women due to potential harm to fetal development. Caution is advised in patients with a history of blood clots, heart disease, liver disease, or kidney disease; use should be determined by your healthcare professional. Report any allergic reaction to this injection to your doctor immediately.

How it works

Gufitrig 5000IU Injection is a type of gonadotrophin that works by promoting ovarian follicular growth and maturation to increase the chance of pregnancy in women and increase sperm count in men. It helps the reproductive organs to function normally by stimulating the production of other hormones, such as estrogen and testosterone, which are important for fetal growth and development.

How to Use

These injections are available only with a prescription from a healthcare professional. This injection will be administered into the muscle or under the skin. Do not self-administer this medicine. Expert Tips

Gufitrig 5000IU Injection can cause harm to a developing fetus or nursing baby, so it is important to discuss contraception options and the need to avoid breastfeeding during treatment. This drug causes fatigue, so encourage the patient to take enough rest and self-care during treatment. Chorionic gonadotrophin increases the risk of bleeding and bruising, so it is important to be careful when using sharp objects or participating in activities that may result in injury.
