Product Introduction
Headon 10IU Injection is a hormonal drug belonging to the human growth hormone (hGH) agonist category, containing somatropin as its active ingredient. It is indicated for treatment of growth failure in children due to growth hormone deficiency, Turner syndrome, small for gestational age, and short stature of unknown cause. In addition to addressing growth hormone deficiency, treatment with this medication improves muscle mass, exercise capacity, and bone mineral density, and reduces fat mass. This drug is contraindicated in severe obesity, acute critical illness, upper airway obstruction, sleep apnoea, cancer, diabetes, impaired glucose tolerance, hypersensitivity, hypothyroidism, hypoadrenalism, scoliosis, and pancreatitis. Seek immediate medical attention if breathlessness, rapid heartbeat, severe rash, swelling of arms or legs, or anaphylactic reactions occur. During treatment with Headon 10IU Injection, your doctor may periodically monitor blood count, blood glucose, thyroid function, and other vital parameters to prevent serious complications. Inform your doctor if you have a history of diabetes, cardiac problems, hypothyroidism, pancreatitis, cancer, obesity, or acute illnesses. Whether treatment with this drug affects fertility is not established. The safety of Headon 10IU Injection during pregnancy has not been demonstrated. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, suspect pregnancy, or are planning pregnancy before commencing treatment. Use with caution during breastfeeding.
