Product Introduction

Hemat Plus Tablet contains ferrous biglycinate, lactoferrin, and L-methylfolate. It is indicated for treatment of iron deficiency resulting from chronic blood loss or impaired iron absorption. The tablet supports formation of red blood cells and haemoglobin, which enhances the oxygen-carrying capacity of red blood cells.

Before taking Hemat Plus Tablet, inform your doctor if you have allergies to iron or other medications, liver disease, stomach ulcers, kidney disease, or heart disease. Do not take this tablet if you have a known allergy to iron or any component of the formulation. If you have a history of stomach ulcers or other gastrointestinal disorders, consult your doctor prior to use.

Hemat Plus Tablet is contraindicated in patients with haemochromatosis, a condition characterised by excessive iron accumulation in the body, and in patients with sickle cell anaemia, a blood disorder that results in production of abnormal red blood cells. This tablet is not recommended for children under 12 years of age.

Maintain adequate fluid intake, particularly water, whilst taking this medication to help prevent constipation.
