Product Introduction
Heptivite tablet contains essential nutrients formulated to support liver function. The formulation combines liver-protective substances, antioxidants, nutrients, and minerals intended to improve liver prognosis. It is indicated for various liver conditions, including alcoholic liver disease, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD), viral hepatitis A and B, and drug-induced and toxic hepatitis. This medication is also used in mild hepatic encephalopathy (brain dysfunction due to liver disease) and liver cirrhosis (liver scarring from chronic damage).
Do not take this medication if you are allergic to any of its ingredients. It should not be used in patients with severe hepatic encephalopathy due to life-threatening risk. This medication is contraindicated in patients with liver failure. Since this medication is excreted by the kidneys, it should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease, diabetes, and gastric ulcers. Heptivite tablet may irritate the pancreas and increase pancreatitis risk; therefore, use with caution in patients with pancreatitis. While generally considered safe in older adults, they may be at increased risk of experiencing side effects, particularly if taking concurrent medications. Discuss use of this medication with your doctor before starting. This medication is not recommended for children under 18 years of age.
