Product Introduction
Histoglob 1ml injection contains histamine dihydrochloride, normal human immunoglobulin, and sodium thiosulphate as active components. This medication is indicated for seasonal allergic rhinitis presenting with sneezing, rhinorrhoea, and pruritus of the eyes. It may assist in managing asthma symptoms, breathing difficulties, and wheezing. The injection can provide relief in various dermatological conditions including contact dermatitis and insect bite reactions. It may help reduce the frequency and intensity of migraine attacks. Histoglob 1ml injection may alleviate symptoms associated with premenstrual syndrome, including bloating, mood changes, and breast tenderness.
Histoglob 1ml injection is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any component of the formulation. Due to limited safety data, this medication is generally not recommended during pregnancy and breastfeeding. This medication is ineffective during acute allergic reactions such as anaphylaxis. Patients with severe renal or hepatic disease should discuss use of this medication with their doctor, as special considerations may be necessary. Histoglob 1ml injection can be used in children under appropriate medical supervision. Safety information in elderly patients is limited; caution is advised in this population.

How it works
Histamine is crucial for mediating allergic and inflammatory reactions and also plays a significant role in the immune functions and movement of WBCs. Histoglob 1ml Injection releases highly potent antibodies against the histamine. These antibodies neutralize the histamine and suppress the maturation of the WBC (eosinophils).
How to Use
Histoglob 1ml Injection is administered subcutaneously. The recommended dosage may be adjusted by a healthcare professional as needed.
Side Effects
Histoglob 1ml Injection causes side effects like all medications, although not everyone will experience them. Serious: Severe allergic reaction Muscle weakness or paralysis Severe pain or swelling at the injection site Blood clots Common: Injection site reactions Fever Nausea and vomiting Diarrhea Dizziness and fatigue
