Product Introduction

Human Albumin NG 500G/L 0.2 Injection contains human albumin as the active ingredient. It is a liquid albumin preparation derived from human plasma. The injection is used to replace lost blood or body fluids in conditions such as excessive bleeding, surgery, or kidney dialysis. It restores and maintains blood volume. The medicine can be administered to both adults and children. Albumin is a protein that maintains osmotic pressure between blood vessels and tissue, and regulates fluid balance. Volume deficiencies may occur during medical conditions or treatments including surgery, shock, severe trauma, liver failure, dialysis, and burn therapy. Human Albumin NG 500G/L 0.2 Injection addresses these deficiencies. However, because this medicine is obtained from human plasma, patients who receive frequent infusions have an increased risk of viral infections. To reduce this risk, your doctor may administer Hepatitis A and B vaccines before starting the infusion. These vaccines provide protection against these viral infections. Before receiving this injection, inform your doctor if you have hypertension, severe anaemia, heart disease, lung inflammation, or breathing difficulty. Do not use this medicine if you are allergic to human albumin or have had previous allergic reactions. During treatment with Human Albumin NG 500G/L 0.2 Injection, blood pressure monitoring and regular blood tests are necessary. Your doctor may also monitor your electrolyte levels to assess blood circulatory function. They will track your urine output, pulse rate, blood pressure, and haemoglobin levels throughout treatment. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, notify your doctor before taking this medicine.

How it works

Human Albumin is a protein found in the blood. The liver produces albumin and plays a major role in maintaining the oncotic pressure and transporting various substances in the bloodstream. When there is excessive bleeding, significant fluid loss, or during certain medical procedures like surgery or kidney dialysis, the body may require additional albumin to replenish the lost blood or body fluids. This medicine is administered in such cases to restore and maintain the blood volume and help improve the patient's condition.
