Product Introduction

IdofNib 100 Capsule contains the active ingredient Nintedanib, a tyrosine kinase inhibitor. It is indicated for the treatment of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, chronic fibrosing interstitial lung disease, and systemic sclerosis-associated interstitial lung disease.

Inform your doctor if you are taking blood thinning medications or have recently undergone surgery. Effective contraception must be used during treatment and continued for three months after the final dose. Oral contraceptives may not be reliable in women taking this medication; discuss contraceptive options with your doctor.

Before starting treatment, disclose any medical conditions to your doctor, particularly liver and heart problems. Your doctor may conduct liver function tests at regular intervals during the first three months of treatment. Notify your doctor if you have a history of bleeding or blood clots (arterial thromboembolic events).

IdofNib 100 Capsule may cause hepatic impairment and embryo-fetal toxicity. Consult your doctor if you have any underlying conditions that may be affected.

Common side effects include nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, fever, skin ulcer, gastrointestinal perforation, altered liver function values, decreased appetite, headache, weight loss, and hypertension. Inform your doctor immediately if you experience any side effects.

Uses

IdofNib 100 Capsule is used in the treatment of the following: Idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis. Chronic fibrosing lung diseases with a progressive phenotype Systemic sclerosis

How it works

IdofNib 100 Capsule works by inhibiting receptor multiple tyrosine kinases (RTKs) enzymes that develop and progress lung fibrosis (scarring). Inhibiting these enzymes reduces the development of fibrous tissue in the lungs.

Side Effects

IdofNib side effects are unwanted symptoms caused by medicines. Even though all drugs cause side effects, not everyone gets them. Serious side effects of IdofNib 100 Capsule are: Bronchitis Myocardial infarction Bleeding problems Pneumonia Major bleeding Yellow eyes, dark urine, pain in the upper right side of the stomach Severe stomach cramps, bloating, fever, and chills Chest pressure or pain on the left side of the body Increased protein in the urine (proteinuria) Common side effects of IdofNib 100 Capsule are: Nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea Fever Skin ulcer Gastrointestinal perforation Altered liver function values Decreased appetite Headache Weight loss Hypertension

Safety Advice

Pregnancy: Unsafe IdofNib 100 Capsule is unsafe to use during pregnancy as it may cause birth defects or death to the unborn baby. Report to your doctor if you are pregnant or think you may be pregnant, or are planning for the pregnancy before starting the treatment.

Lungs: Consult Your Doctor Consult your doctor if you experience symptoms like pneumonia or any other lung-related condition while taking IdofNib 100 Capsule.

Breastfeeding: Unsafe Taking IdofNib 100 Capsule while breastfeeding may be unsafe because it may affect the child. Therefore, talk with your doctor to get more information.
