Product Introduction
Iminoral 50mg Capsule contains Cyclosporine, an immunosuppressant medication. It is primarily indicated to prevent organ rejection in patients with kidney, liver, or heart transplants. The medication works alongside other medicines to suppress the body's immune response against the transplanted organ. Following solid organ transplantation, the immune system recognises the donor organ's antigens as foreign and mounts an aggressive response. Immunosuppressive therapy is therefore necessary to prevent organ rejection.
Use of immunosuppressants increases the risk of skin cancer. Sun exposure should be limited; protective clothing should be worn and sunscreen with high SPF applied regularly. Patients should inform their physician if they have recently received vaccination with live vaccines. Iminoral 50mg Capsule is contraindicated in individuals with known hypersensitivity or allergy to Cyclosporine or any of its components.
This medication can elevate blood pressure levels. It should be used with caution or avoided in individuals with uncontrolled hypertension or a history of high blood pressure. Patients planning to conceive should discuss potential reproductive effects with a healthcare professional. Blood glucose monitoring is important, particularly for individuals at increased risk of diabetes.
Uses
Prevention of organ rejection (Kidney, liver, and heart) Treatment of Rheumatoid arthritis and Psoriasis
How it works
By suppressing the immune system, Iminoral 50mg Capsule helps prevent organ rejection in transplant recipients. After organ transplantation, the immune system recognizes the transplanted organ as foreign and launches an immune response to attack and reject it. Iminoral 50mg Capsule inhibits the activation of T-cells, a type of white blood cell involved in immune responses. This suppression of T-cell activity helps to prevent the immune system from attacking and damaging the transplanted organ, thereby increasing the chances of successful organ transplantation

Expert Tips
When using Iminoral 50mg Capsule, it is important to take several precautions. These include monitoring infections, kidney and liver function, blood pressure, and neurological symptoms closely. Allergic reactions should be promptly addressed. Awareness of potential drug interactions and gastrointestinal side effects is crucial.
